Which Champagne would You treat your parents or in-laws?

FRANCESCO MARZOLA ‘Considering that my parents and my in-laws are not at all into wine, I guess I will choose something with a creamy texture and good dosage, such the Champagnes of Agnes Corbon from Avize.’

Which Champagne would You treat your lover?

FRANCESCO MARZOLA ‘My lover is my wife, so I would choose something after her taste, dry, chalky and almost salty, like the Suenen ‘Lés Robarts’ 2012 from Cramant.’

Which Champagne would You treat your boss?

FRANCESCO MARZOLA ‘My boss is definitely a Dom Perignon lover, so I would go in that direction, perhaps with some age, like the Œnothèque 1982.’

Which Champagne would You treat yourself?

FRANCESCO MARZOLA ‘I am definitely a Krug lover, so I would go with the Clos d’Ambonnay 2002. Drunk it recently, and by far the best Champagne I drank in my life!

Which Champagne would You treat a dream guest, and why?

FRANCESCO MARZOLA ‘Salon 1996! A legendary vintage from a even more legendary producer and a wonderful history to tell!
