2017 Agrapart ’Vénus’

‘In 2017, as so often, it is a matter of taste whether to go for the greater elegance and razor-sharp terroir-true sharpness that Avizoise displays or the nutty buttery cask-based concentration that Venus always possesses.

When we tasted the entire series during The Juhlin Champagne Tasting 2023, the group split into two camps and I ended up with a tie and occasion-driven preference. No doubt this is a bigger and more impressive wine than Avizoise, but is it tastier?’
