‘The cooperative in Monthelon, which is a bit hidden just behind Chavot and Cuis, was founded in 1947. Today one owns 75 hectares of vineyards. The company is a merger of the two fine villages of Morangis and Monthelon and these two M’s still adorn the company’s weapons and labels. Vinification is highly normal and Chardonnay naturally dominates the slopes south of Epernay. The wines are stylish and correct with a dry freshness as a hallmark. Worth noting is that they release a serious Zéro Dosage after 11 years in 500 copies.’
