Courageous and ambitious, Charles was an eternal traveler. He crossed the Atlantic four times, enticing Americans with his Champagne. He undertook courageous and perilous crossings in order to develop new markets all over the world. A thirst for adventure has always been part of Charles’ style and it continues to inspire us today!

Formerly known as the Whitbread, and currently known as The Ocean Race, this 40-year-old race boasts a captivating history intertwined with the House, notably during the 1980s when the iconic boat Charles Heidsieck III participated with panache.

The House takes great pride in its affiliation with this world-class sailing race, which unites the most seasoned sailors and fosters a profound dedication to our planet. This partnership exemplifies a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, perseverance, and sustainability.

Leg six of the race has just started from Aarhus, Denmark, leading the boats to The Hague, Netherlands. The Grand Finale will take place in Genova, Italy, on July 1st.
