Europe’s steepest ravine is much narrower than the Grand Canyon, which in a way reinforces the depth and triggers my vertigo even more despite a less impressive height. The walls decorated with greenery, are not as special as the red wall in Arizona, but at the same time very enjoyable to the eye. We ended up in this European paradise on a perfect day, with a crispy Indian summer feel to the air and clean, clear symphonic fragrance chords from the abundant flora at the entrance of the gorge.
