Bonhams acquires Bukowskis – the Nordic region’s leading auction house

London – The global auction house Bonhams has acquired Bukowskis, the Nordic region’s leading auction house.

The acquisition of Bukowskis will scale up Bonham’s European presence and increase digital capacity to support further growth for Bonham’s entire network.

Bonhams was acquired by the British-based private equity firm Epiris in September 2018. Since then, significant investments have been made in Bonhams in digitization, marketing and recruitment. To further strengthen its European presence, Bonhams opened a new auction house in Paris on Rue de la Paix in 2021.
