On the 3 of June there’s a long awaited launch of two gems from Bollinger @ Systembolaget; 2009 Bollinger ‘Vieilles Vignes Françaises’ & 2012 Bollinger ‘La Grande Année Rosé’.

2012 ‘La Grande Année Rosé’

Bollinger La Grande Année Rosé is Madame Bollinger’s ultimate gift, the result of unique conditions: a great champagne and one of the best still red wines from champagne. It was impossible for Madame Bollinger to produce a rosé that could not live up to the power, fullness and structure that is Bollinger’s house style. With that in mind, Bollinger created La Grande Année Rosé. 95% of the grapes come from Grands crus and 5% come from Premiers crus. 13 undividual sites are used, mainly Aÿ, Verzenay for Pinot Noir and Avize, Chouilly and Mesnil-sur-Oger for Chardonnay.
