The Champagne Chick is my Passion Project, it came to life a few years ago purely out of my love for Champagne, initially sharing fun quotes and info on my Facebook and Instagram to a small following. It has since grown into quite a community of champagne lovers from all over the world.I share what I come across relevant to Champagne. From Industry and Brand news to the best hotels and bars with fabulous Champagne offerings as well as Events, and Champagne-related items.  As long as it’s champagne, I’m on it.

I have no specific qualifications in the field … everything I do is driven by my love of Champagne and I try to educate myself and expand my knowledge all the time. I have travelled to the region on a number of occasions and have visited quite a few champagne houses and growers, although I’ve only scratched the surface.

My aim with my social media pages is to be sort of a one-stop-shop for my followers regarding champagne while keeping it light-hearted and fun.

Which Champagne would You treat your parents or in-laws?

‘Sadly both my dad and in-laws have passed but my mom shares my love of champagne and her favorite is Laurent-Perrier ’La Cuvée’.

Which Champagne would You treat your lover?

’My husband and I both love Blanc de blancs, so for a special occasion I would consider popping my last bottle of Taittinger ’Comtes de Champagne’ 2002.’

Which Champagne would You treat your boss?

As I’m my own ‘boss’, my treat to myself would be a bottle of Champagne Jacques Selosse ’Initial’, which is high on the list of champagnes I would love to try.’

Which Champagne would You treat yourself?

See Above’.

Which Champagne would You treat a dream guest, and why?

‘A dream guest …. oh I would love to have a champagne date with Gerard Butler or Idris Elba, or can I have them both? The champagne … Billecart-Salmon ’Cuvée Nicolas François Billecart’, and the music that would accompany this champagne date would be L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole, one of my favorite songs of all time.’

I often get asked about my ‘favorite’ champagne, I have many favorites and love to try new cuvées and blends and my reply is usually ‘You don’t eat the same meal every evening, why would you drink the same champagne every day?’
